Since 2008, Hastings College and Hastings College Foundation, Dr. Jerry Seiler, the YWCA, and Mary Lanning Healthcare have coordinated the annual “Play Tough, Play Pink” event with the HC volleyball team, designating accumulated proceeds of nearly $6,000 to help enhance patient care at Morrison Cancer Center.

“Over the years, the college volleyball ‘Play Tough’ nights have helped Mary Lanning purchase such items as blanket warmers, an ice chip machine and now an automated blood pressure cuff,” said Mark Callahan, Interim President and CEO at Mary Lanning Healthcare. “We and our patients appreciate the generosity of the entire HC team, as well as their loyal fans.”

Hastings College staff and students gathered in the Morrison Cancer Center lobby to present Mary Lanning Healthcare Foundation with proceeds from October 13, 2012 “Play Tough Play Pink” volleyball game.
